It is an important topic in the study of Chinese grammar.Although the number of it is small,it is difficult to teach Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the theory of "Trinity grammar" proposed by Feng Shengli et al.,this paper studies the tendency complement from the form structure,the functional function of the structure and the typical context of the function.Through these three dimensions,the abstract grammatical meaning of it is analyzed and explained,and the classroom teaching design of it is designed,hoping to make some contributions to the classroom practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into four major parts.The first part explains the significance and value of the topic,summarizes the research status and background of "Trinity grammar" theory,"trend supplement" and "Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language",and introduces the research content,steps and methods of this paper.The second part is the introduction of "Trinity grammar",including the content of "Trinity grammar",structure and how to use the theory in Chinese teaching.The third part is a key point of this paper,which is the analysis of the formal structure,functional function and typical context.Part of the trend supplement after the analysis,but also give some small teaching suggestions.The fourth part is the teaching design of complement under the theoretical framework of "Trinity grammar".This paper discusses the principles of the teaching design under the theoretical framework of "Trinity grammar",and shows the teaching design of the tendency to complement "on".
