| The newly issued English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)attaches great importance to the reform of English teaching and learning methods.It reviews the importance of game teaching activities in primary school English teaching and points out that "games can stimulate students’ curiosity and thirst for knowledge,and guide students to actively engage in language learning and practice." At the same time,game teaching activities can provide students with a good situation of language use.In the field of primary school English teaching,teachers use games to build a new class characterized by real,personalized and in-depth experience,which helps students to complete knowledge acquisition in a complete context.By encouraging students to solve practical problems with the knowledge they have learned,they can make a leap from the known to the unknown and promote the development of good thinking quality.Therefore,game teaching activities have great application potential in classroom teaching practice.In the normal English teaching practice of primary school,there are still some problems in game teaching activities.For example,teachers have not grasped the essence of game design,game teaching activities are often mere formalities,and there is a lack of innovative application of traditional games.Therefore,optimizing the design of game teaching activities in primary school English teaching is an urgent problem to be solved.In this paper,the primary school English game teaching activities are studied under the background of the new curriculum standards,and the optimized design framework of primary school game teaching activities is proposed to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards,so as to effectively improve the deep integration of game teaching activities and teaching.Game teaching activities are carried out in a series of teaching links,such as learning understanding,application practice,transfer and innovation,in four different classes of vocabulary,pronunciation,dialogue and reading,so as to provide new ideas for the transformation of primary school English classroom teaching methods.Finally,it provides relevant case support for the optimization design of game teaching activities in terms of vocabulary,pronunciation,dialogue and reading. |
