| Examination is an important indicator for selecting talents in our country,and they are also the most fair among various selection methods.In recent years,the pressure of social competition has been increasing day by day,and the standards for talent selection have been constantly improving.As college students who are about to enter society,in order to improve their social competitiveness,they must put in a higher degree of learning effort.Previous studies have shown that Chinese college students generally experience exam anxiety.Based on this,the purpose of this study is to further examine exam anxiety among college students on the basis of previous research.This study used a questionnaire survey method to test 829 college students using the "Sarason Exam Anxiety Scale","Family Intimacy and Adaptability Scale","Sense of Security Scale",and "Admiration Competition Narcissistic Personality Scale".And statistical analysis was conducted on the data using SPSS and AMOS software to reveal the correlation between variables and their mechanisms of action,providing a theoretical basis for helping college students overcome exam anxiety from aspects such as family function,personality,and sense of security.The research conclusion is as follows:(1)College students generally experience exam anxiety,and the number of people with high levels of exam anxiety accounts for 72.5% of all participants.(2)The four variables of college students’ exam anxiety,family intimacy and adaptability,sense of security,and admiration,competition,and narcissism are significantly correlated in pairs.Specifically,there is a significant positive correlation between college students’ exam anxiety and family intimacy and adaptability,and there is also a significant positive correlation between college students’ exam anxiety and the two dimensions of family intimacy and adaptability(intimacy and adaptability);There is a significant negative correlation between exam anxiety and sense of security among college students,and the two dimensions of exam anxiety and sense of security(interpersonal security and sense of control)are also significantly negatively correlated;There is a significant negative correlation between college students’ exam anxiety and their admiration for competitive narcissistic personality,and there is also a significant negative correlation between college students’ exam anxiety and the two dimensions of their admiration for competitive narcissistic personality(competitive narcissistic personality and admiration narcissistic personality).(3)Family intimacy and adaptability have a significant predictive effect on college students’ exam anxiety,with intimate college students scoring the highest among the four types of family intimacy;Flexible college students have the highest score for exam anxiety among the four types of family adaptability.(4)The sense of security and admiration for competitive narcissistic personality play a significant parallel mediating role between family intimacy,adaptability,and exam anxiety,and the mediating role of sense of security is significantly greater than that of admiration for competitive narcissistic personality. |
