| The STEAM education concept allows students to flexibly apply multidisciplinary knowledge to solve problems.It combines elements of science,technology,engineering,art,and mathematics,and is a diversified and interdisciplinary comprehensive education model.Integrating STEAM education concepts into off campus art teaching can integrate a multidisciplinary perspective into art teaching,highlighting the professional characteristics of off campus art teaching,and strengthening the cultivation of students’ learning abilities and laying a solid foundation for future adult learning.Based on the characteristics of middle school students’ learning,a framework model,general teaching process,and teaching practice for extracurricular art teaching design in middle schools are designed based on the STEAM education concept.Taking the design and development practice of the "Group Immortals Wishing Birthday Picture" imitation course as an example,with middle school students as the main focus and high school students with spare energy as auxiliary,aiming at middle school students aged 12 to 18,integrating traditional Chinese painting with STEAM education concepts,and designing a STEAM high school off campus art teaching course that conforms to the cognitive characteristics of middle school students.By introducing art teaching content,constructing an art knowledge system,conducting interdisciplinary exploration,and showcasing achievements,we aim to practice the STEAM education concept in secondary school art extracurricular teaching.In teaching,combined with post class evaluation and interview analysis,to enhance the ability of middle school students to discover and solve problems.It has a very positive significance in cultivating the students’ rational thinking ability and active learning consciousness,strengthening the ability to solve problems,enhancing the students’ humanistic quality and other aspects,and also provides new ideas for the innovative curriculum of art teaching outside. |
