Research On The Construction Of The Cultural Image Of The Elderly In The Documentary About The Elderly

At present,with the continuous growth of the aged population in our country,more and more regions are gradually entering a deep aging society.How to deal with the aging problem has become an urgent social issue.To improve the quality of elderly care,not only to meet the material needs of the elderly,but also to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly.As a special form of media,documentary should play its role in the communication of ideology.By presenting the positive cultural life of the elderly,it should give the elderly spiritual and cultural satisfaction on the media,and help other groups to establish an objective and correct understanding of the elderly group and the elderly life.However,the development of the elderly documentary still presents some problems.The presentation of the negative elderly culture and the concept of the elderly means that the expression of the cultural image of the elderly is still biased.Therefore,this paper chooses to study the construction of the cultural image of the elderly in the domestic documentary about the elderly,explore some defects of the current documentary in the cultural expression of the elderly,and try to put forward some corresponding strategies.This paper is mainly composed of five parts.The introduction part will elaborate the research background,research significance,research status and research methods of this paper.Chapter one firstly defines the concept of the elderly subject documentary and the elderly cultural image,and then sorts out and summarizes the changes of the elderly cultural image in the elderly subject documentary,including the hiding and development of the elderly cultural image before the new century,and the predicament and profit situation of the elderly cultural image since the new century.Chapter two discusses the predicament of constructing the cultural image of the elderly in the elderly subject documentary in our country,analyzes the life and cultural contents of the elderly in the current elderly subject documentary,and points out the cultural edge,cultural shelter and cultural singleness in the construction of the cultural image of the elderly.The third chapter puts forward coping strategies from three aspects: frame reconstruction,emotion refinding and space resetting,aiming at the dilemma presented in the second chapter.The fourth chapter explores some breakthrough ways and significance of the construction of the cultural image of the elderly from the three aspects of character selection,conflict presentation and audio-visual application in combination with the author’s own creation of documentary works on the elderly.
