An Analysis Of The Construction Strategies Of The Images Of The Elderly In The Documentary Films About The Elderly

With the continuous development of society,the proportion of the elderly population increases year by year,and the aging process is intensified.Our country has entered the aging society,and population aging has become one of the most important people’s livelihood issues at present."Active aging" needs to arouse the attention of the whole society,which is not only related to the healthy development of the elderly group,but also related to the harmonious development of the country and society.The documentary on the elderly inherits the real and objective nature of documentary,and records the lifestyle of the elderly group.At the root of the narrative mode of the documentary about the elderly,while enriching the story content,it should focus on the analysis of the construction strategy of the image of the elderly.This is not only beneficial to our overall grasp of the elderly group,but also to make the image of the elderly group deeply rooted in people’s hearts.This paper not only enriches the image of the elderly,but also conforms to the policy of "active aging".This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction expounds the research background and significance,research status,research methods,and defines the main research content of the paper.The first chapter discusses the definition and value orientation of elderly documentaries from 1990 to now.The second chapter discusses the diversified artistic expression of the elderly figures and summarizes the characteristics of the elderly figures.The third chapter points out the "dilemma" of constructing the image of the aged in the documentary on the aged under the new media environment.The fourth chapter explains the multi-dimensional shaping of the elderly characters in the documentary on the elderly.Finally,through the reflection and summary of the creation process of my personal work Ideal 80,I hope to provide guidance for the creation of documentaries about the elderly.This paper aims to arouse the academic circle and even the society’s attention and thinking on the problem of social aging,and actively advocate the aging society by analyzing the construction strategy of the image of the elderly in the documentary about the elderly.
