| Chinese Social Address Forms play a very important role in daily communication,it is the beginning of a communication,proper use of Chinese Social Address Forms can improve the communicative effect.This investigation and study takes Thai students as the research object,in the form of a questionnaire and interviews,analyzes the problems and causes of their use of Chinese Social Address Forms,in addition,some suggestions are put forward to improve the appropriateness of using Chinese Social Address Forms for Thai students.The introduction of this paper mainly explains the research background and significance of Chinese Social Address Forms,the research ideas,research methods,and existing research results.The first chapter explains the definition,classification and usage characteristics of Chinese Social Address Forms.The second chapter is the design and implementation of questionnaire survey and interview.The third chapter mainly analyzes the results of the survey and finds out the problems existing in the use of address forms by Thai students.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions to improve students’ appropriateness in using social address forms from the aspects of teaching and materials.According to the results of the survey,Thai students have the following problems when using Chinese Social Address Forms which are respectively the involuntary use of avoidance strategies when encountering difficulties in the use of address forms;The age and occasion of application of some address forms are not clear;The use of Chinese social address forms cannot get rid of the influence of mother tongue;The surface name is confused with the back name.The main reasons for the above problems are as follows: the Chinese Social Address Forms system is very complex;Negative transfer of students’ native language culture;Target language rule generalization;The teaching of address forms is not systematic.To solve these problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions from two aspects: teaching materials and teaching.For materials,the occurrence rate of address forms in Chinese textbooks should be improved;To increase the interpretation and practice of address forms;Attach importance to contemporaneity and practicability of address forms.For teaching,Chinese teachers should actively create the scene;Pay attention to contrast teaching;Make full use of film and television resources;Give play to the exemplary role of teachers. |
