| The expressive power of decorative color language on Chinese flower and bird painting has begun to be noticed,bringing a fresh breath of air to the painting since the20 th century,when the long-standing expressive feature of brush and ink was produced.In this paper,we take a look at the connotation and characteristics of decorative color to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of decorative color.Taking Zhang Guiming as the representative,it analyzes how he relied on his own artistic creativity to complete the innovation of artistic style in the context of the collision of Chinese and Western cultures and the move of Chinese painting from tradition to modernity.Using specific works as examples,he explores the basis for the expression of decorative color characteristics and aesthetic interest in Zhang Gui Ming’s artistic style.His artistic explorations and experiments were almost simultaneous with the development of Chinese painting in the20 th century.In the process of forming his artistic style,the color language always showed obvious contemporary and decorative characteristics,and eventually formed a unique style and appearance.This paper compares the formation and expression of decorative colors in contemporary painting of birds and flowers.From the artist’s point of view,it explores how to balance tradition and innovation,and it retraces and analyzes the influence of the contemporary environment on the artist’s artistic style,as well as draws lessons from it to guide new creation and change. |
