Intangible cultural heritage has "intangible" character,its transmission and innovation depend on human beings.Safeguarding intangible cultural heritage needs to focus on human development.This article finds that the concept of intangible cultural heritage is closely related to gender and that there is indeed a gender imbalance in intangible cultural heritage’s preservation in China.Theoretical research is therefore needed to focus on the important but vulnerable female inheritors.In the real world,there are already examples of ’third-party’ organizations helping women to participate in intangible cultural heritage and enabling them to develop.This article uses China Women’s Development Foundation’s "THE GENIUS MOM" project as a case to research,and through field study,explores how this case has created a closed-loop public service chain,helped female inheritors to improve their abilities,and improved their standard of living and social status.Through cross-sectional research,this article summaries the structure of "Social Organizations + Intangible Cultural Heritage + Female Inheritors" formed by China Women’s Development Foundation’s "THE GENIUS MOM" project.And analyses the fact that in the process of social organizations helping the development of female inheritors,there is still the project also analyses the limitations of social organizations in supporting the development of female inheritors due to the wide variety of intangible cultural heritage and the differences in content.There are also problems with the limited efficiency of female heirs due to their lack of competence.This article hopes to explore how social organizations can contribute to the development of female inheritors,and to help the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
