Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a province rich in natural resources, with coal as the major one. The large-scale coal exploitation in this region results in frequent ground subsidence cases and vatious social and ecological problems.Due to the inevitability of environmental damage, the diversity of damage types as well as the seriousness and endurance of the impact, studies on mine recovery management have been flourishing. The thesis has reviewed the causes of ground subsidence, loss tudies; predict models and the status quo and trends studies on recovery management. According to the situation of ground subsidence in Inner Mongolia, the thesis puts forward the concept of ground subsidence geological environment types and divides them into various area. It intends to base the study on the practice and thearies of recovery management both at home and abroad, with the combition of empirical and standard research methods, the study, modeled on Hulunbeir Baoroxole Mine, Chifeng City Yuan Baoshan Mine and Baoto City Shiguai Mine, intends to set up the model and methods of recovery management. The contenrs and the conclution are as follows.1. The analysis of Inner Mongolia ecological, geological environment condition based on the review of the historical and geological, ecological documents.2. It is discovered that through field surveys, mine collapse are mainly distributed in the bar-depression Zhalainuoer mining area, Dayan mining area, Baorixile mining area, Dayangshu mining area, Labudalin mining area, Yakeshi mining area, Mangniuhai mining area, Pingzhuang-Yuanbaoshan mining area,Zhalute mining area, Jinbaotun mining area and Huolinhe mining area, Zhungeer, Dongsheng mining area, Shiguai mining area, Table mountain mining area, Wuda mining area, Wunite mining area, Manitu mining area, Hadatu and Gulaben mining area. Ground subsidence has caused major casualties hazards, buildings and traffic lines deformation or damage, the environment of human existence has continued to worsen, the destruction of the natural landscape, grassland degradation and desertification.3. This part puts forward the concept of the geological environmental types of ground subsidence and the influencing factors, which is a branch of this field. It is a reflect of the overall environment of a coal mine. According to the actual situation of Inner Mongolia ground subsidence geological environment type classification to classify the geological environment types, with each mine as a basic assessing unit.4. Combining the reclamation management studies at home and abroad, the thesis divides all Inner Mongolian coal mines into different areas, proposes different measures of reclamation management and estimates the cost of reclamation. So as to provide a scientific basis for Inner Mongolian ground subsidence reclamation management.5. Three ground subsidence geological environment types are selected. In accordance with the actual situation of each mine camp, in terms of the local environment conditions, land damage types, the level of soil productivity, soil quality of the environment, farmland bioliversity, aesthetics, and the feasibility and benefits, the thesis presents an adeal land recovery management design and planning and provides technical support for land reclamation management.
