So we can content the contemporary need of mineral resources, and also benefit for the sustainable economic development.This paper briefly discusses the policy measures and technical means to carry out the mine geological environment protection at home and abroad.Briefly elaborates the application of methods and technical advantages of the use of biological prostheses and geochemical engineering repair technology jointly controlling environmental pollution problems. On this basis, environment protection and recovery engineering of the pyrite mine in luopu area, xuyong county of luzhou city in sichuan province was taken for instance.Through the researching and accessing to the local geographical, meteorological, hydrological and other natural geographic, geological environment background, mining history of the status quo and mining technical solutions,The assessment of the status and the forecast evaluation of the mine geological environment were carried out in accordance with the relevant technical requirements.Based on the assessment conclusions, the recovery and management programs were putted forward. Through the mine geological environment management, will reach new cultivated land,woodland and construction land area of not less than80%of the total area of mining, the new farmland and woodland area of not less than45%of the total area of mining,improving the geo-ecological environment and people’s living conditions, promote the development of characteristic agriculture mine, and promote local people become prosperous and industrial restructuring and upgrading.
