In this thesis, the synthesis and application of cyclometallated (Hg, Pd) ferrocenylimines and polymer-supported palladium compound or chiral amino alcohol catalysts involving heterocyclic rings were studied in the following aspects:1, Different from the traditional synthetic route (A), a new way (B) was employed to synthesize the cyclomercurated ferrocenylimines containing heterocyclic ring by the condensation of cyclomercuration of acylferrocene with the appropriate heterocyclic amine. This procedure provides an efficient method for the synthesis of cyclomerucurated ferrocenylimines containing heterocyclic ring which were difficultly synthesized by the traditional method. A series of these compounds were synthesized by this new method and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR and X-ray crystal structure determination. The synthetic reaction mechanism was proposed and the by-products were characterized by X-ray crystal structure determination.2, Five cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines containing heterocyclic ring were synthesized and applied as catalysts in Heck reaction. It was found that these cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines were efficient to catalyze the Heck reaction with iodobenzene as the substract. Morever, good yields, high speed, high selectivity but not inducing period was found in these reactions.3, Four kinds of polymer(fiber)-supporting materials were synthesized simply fromcommercially available polyacrylonitrile fiber. One of them was found to be suitable for catalytic recycle procedure and then palladium was attached on it to obtain a polymer (fiber)-supported palladium catalyst. This fiber catalyst was characterized by elemental analysis, IR, SEM and XPS. Its high activity and selectivity for Heck reactions were measured; its activity remained unchanged after being recycled 20 times. The reason why no inducing period was observed was explained according to the results of XPS.4, One polymer (fiber)-supported chiral ammo alcohol was synthesized from natural amino acid and commercially available polypropene fiber. This fiber-supported catalyst has a little better catalytic activity than the resin supported catalyst when they were compared with each other in the same reaction of enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes.Five novel amino alcohols involving heterocyclic ring were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 'H-NMR and X-ray crystal structure determination. The catalytic property of these amino alcohols as co-catalyst together with fiber-supported chiral amino alcohol in the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes has been studing.
