Cost Control Technology Of Ore-dressing Production Process And Its Application

The process industry is our national support industry, annual production value occupies 66% of gross industrial product. The main component of process industry is material industry, and ore-dressing production is the base of material industry. Though mineral resource in my country is very plentiful, ore grade is lower, and mining, ore-dressing, smelting are difficult. There are hundreds of ore-dressing plants in our country, the level of automation is lower, methods in production management especially about the cost control are adopted by manual operations, it causes high production cost, high consumption of resource, and brings the bottleneck of material industry development in our country. Now the prices of main products of ore-dressing enterprises are close to the international price, how to reduce the cost and improve the market competence is an important problem, which is related to the fate of the enterprises. The primary task of production cost control for ore-dressing enterprises is to control material and energy consumption, which occupies main proportion. However, the control of material and energy consumption is related to many technique indices and technical parameters during production process. The ore-dressing production process is a complex industry process, and cost control deals with many technique indices, so the cost control of ore- dressing production process is difficult to be implemented by the routine approaches. Thus the research on dynamic control approaches and technique of cost in ore-dressing production process is important for ore-dressing enterprises to control production cost. Taking the project "dynamic cost control technique in production process and its software development" which is supported by China "863" Planning as background, the cost control techniques during ore-dressing production process is studied in the paper. According to the problems existing in production cost control of ore-dressing enterprise, some intelligent and optimal approaches such as neural network(NN), genetic algorithms (GA), case-based reasoning(CBR) and so on are applied to establish models and to control.
