The following research contents have been carried out in this dissertation: Thermal variation laws, formation laws of bamboo charcoal, vinegar and gas were investigated in the pyrolysis process of bamboo. The relationship between the final carbonization temperature and basic function of bamboo charcoal was examined. The relationship of the composition and characteristic of bamboo charcoal, wood charcoal and activated carbon were analyzed by means of CHN-O-RAPID,ICP-AES, AAS, AFS and other methods. Carbon content in bamboo charcoal increased with the elevation of final carbonization temperature, in contrast, the contents of hydrogen and oxygen decreased. The bamboo charcoal contained abundant mineral substance and microelements such as Cu, Se, Zn, Sr which are benefit to people, further more, the content of harmful metal elements is very low. By means of FTIR, XPS, XRD, Raman, EPR and other analytical methods, researches and characterization on chemical structure of bamboo charcoal, surface functional group and microcrystal structure are conducted, which indicate its evolution laws and developing features. By means of SEM, specific surface area, micro-structure of bamboo charcoal, specific surface area and characteristics of pores are observed and analyzed, with emphasis on formation of micropore, and development laws. It was found for the first time that bamboo charcoal and onion fullerenes(C60), nano-phase carbon tube (dispreader ) are very similar in micro-structure, micro-shape in bamboo charcoal. Purification effect of bamboo charcoal on sewage water and polluted gas were studied respectively. Experimental results showed that different pollution source should use the different bamboo charcoal obtained under different final carbonization temperature. Infrared ray and negative ion of bamboo charcoal were tested. Nano-modified bamboo charcoal were developed firstly all over country. It has very good abilities, such as light catalysis, adsorption, decomposition and bacteriostasis, sterilization. The character which the Nano-modified bamboo charcoal decompose pollutans and bactericide, sterilizate Trichoderma. viride, Aspergillus. niger, staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, candida albicans were also studied. Bamboo charcoal and vinegar'shampoo and shower lotion were developed. In addition, machine furnace for high adsorptive capability bamboo charcoal was also developed. Nano-modified bamboo charcoal, Bamboo charcoal and vinegar'shampoo and shower lotion and machine furnace for high adsorptive bamboo charcoal have been produced in industry scale.
