The molecule structure model of coal was established in this thesis by quantum chemistry theory and thermogravimetry infrared spectrum experiment methods. And studied the index gases created during coal spontaneous combustion, and gained the relation between the consistency of index gases and the temperature. The active point of the chemical reaction between the coal and the oxygen was researched by using the molecule orbital theory. Based on the experimental studies, the coal spontaneous combustion theory was established. And it confirmed that we could use the coal ignition activation energy to judge spontaneous combusting easy or not based on that. And developed the coal spontaneous combustion period forecast system based on the nerve net theory. The spontaneous combustion dangerous area in mine goaf at Shendong mine area was partitioned off. Based on the theoretic and experimental research, the comprehensive prevention technique for preventing coal spontaneous combustion was given. The main contents and achievements in this thesis include several aspects as follow:There are 13 coal samples from Shengdong mine area been analyzed. The chemical structure of coal molecule was researched by infrared spectrum experiment methods, and analyzed the infrared spectrum figures of coal molecule structure, and established the coal molecule model. Based on that, the vibration frequency and the parameters of molecule structure were gained while optimizing the basal chemical structure cell of coal molecule by quantum chemical DFT method according analyzing the 3D infrared spectrum figures. The frequency gained by theory calculating was consistent with that gained by experiment. It means that the coal molecule structure built is correct.The order that the side chain groups in coal organic large molecule generate oxidizing reaction was obtained according to the data of the peak...
