Firstly, this thesis built up the model of vertical bending conveyor. Base on this, the dynamic tension, dynamic displacement characteristics under starting and braking conditions with variable load are studied, also, some important conclusions are put forward. Based on simulation using Matlab, draw out graphic model of dynamic tension (or general tension, dynamic displacement)-time-displacement and two-dimensional view which display directly the status of belt conveyor and concrete dynamics analysis on the belt conveyor of Sihe mine in Jincheng, Shanxi province, underlying hazard and reasons that caused them are pointed out. Correspongdingly, a series of solution with emphasis are put forward:derivate optimized acceleration curve, design and develop closed-loop controller for soft starter and automatic regulating system for coal feeder. Besides, the corresponding software is developed by using Visual Basic and Matlab software, which has carried out the data transmission between them without Matlab running environment. The development of this software is very significant for belt conveyor analysis and study.
