On the basis of multi-information, we have assessed water disaster and cracking secu-rity of the No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine, with expert knowledge and weight database about coal water disaster merging into GIS which can acquire and analyze spatial information complicated, by grid overlaying and topology, map-algebra compu-ting. It can help solve some practical problem. More detail below:Making a evaluation on water burst from bed bottom of No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine, with frangibility index method based on GIS and AHP; Making a evaluation on water gushing of roof in coalne of No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine, with three-map overlaying method based on GIS and AHP; The paper put forward a method which how to set fault waterproof pillar in the No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine, with a reasearch to the setting methods of waterproof coal pillar, computing methods and experience of prevention and cure to water disaster. Furthermore, based on hydrogeology characteristics of No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine; Making a forecasting research on water inflow of the west mining area in No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine, and it's very practical for prevention and cure of No.7 coal bed of YaoQiao Coal Mine.
