In the process of industrialization and urbanization, industry, mining and urban waste are large, not only pollute the environment, but also crowd the city's development. It can provide a viable sustainable development to the city, if these wastes can be used to construction. However, there are many issues such as insufficient technical support, complex using processors and high of labor and environmental issues, which make use of the engineering difficult in construction. Therefore, we should address the use of operational, economic benefits and environmental impacts so as to make it possible for us to use of waste materials in construction. This article focuses on the operation of the implementation of the use of construction waste, technology development and selection, construction and design. Firstly, the article systematically summarizes the development of thinking of the construction with reclaimed materials since the 20th century, and clarifies the Ideological basis of the various construction technologies and design methods. It summarizes a set of technologies for use of the design process and construction management through the use of engineering case analysis. Secondly, it points out the technical obstacles, the way to overcome it and how to choose a more workable economic and environmental technology process through the analysis of recycled building materials and the construction by using reclaimed materials. Thirdly, through generalizing the design methods of building with reclaimed materials, the design pursuit of environment, art and social, it concludes that only through the design of construction can we improve the value of the reclaimed materials. Finally, the above results obtained under special circumstances be used to guide post-disaster construction waste utilization, and then once again proved the conclusions above. This is a superficial application of research results and practice.
