Diesel engine electronic control technology is an effective method in improving dynamic performances, economic performances and environments protecting performances. Locomotive diesel engine type 1 6V240ZA is a main type diesel engine of mainline locomotive used in China and its electronic control technology is not only the frontier subject in the domain, but also the basic subject in locomotive computer control. The investigation on the subject has important significance in scaling the basic parts homemade.On the basic of electronic control system of locomotive diesel engine ,which is a part of the 搕L ?f.?science and technology development plan of Ministry of Railways, the key technology, theoretical problems about control strategy, selfadaptive control and stability have been systematically investigated.This work in the thesis aims at realizing the conversion of electronic control system of heavy duty locomotive diesel engine type 1 6V240ZA from the tests system to the practical system and complex management system. The main contents of the dissertation emphasize on the research and development of intellectual fuzzy control system.The human system intelligence control (HSIC) and fuzzy logic control (FLC) to design the controller is introduced first in order to solve the self-adaptive regulating problem of PID parameters in dynamic environment. A complex control system with intellectual control characteristic and multi-layer structure is designed to realize the self-adaptive regulating of PID parameters. The control system designed could also solve the problem of multi-target real time control of locomotive diesel engine.MATLAB software pack and fuzzy control develop system FDS 1.0 are used in establishing intellectual control system to form a practical research and development system of intellectual control. The system includes model establishing and simulation system. Beginning with modeling, we establish a simulative system, and then we have a test on the c~ontro1 strategy, finally, put the results into a design of the practical control system. It has been proved that the system can improve working efficiency. In Chapter 3, the diesel engine dynamic system is presented as a 揋REY BOX? An applied dynamic model is established by adopting system identification method on diesel engines type 16V24OZA and type Z6135. In Chapter 4 a digital simulating system is developed and used in rotating speed control. A reasonable method to simplify the subject functions to make the fuzzy reasoning rules more practical isproposed. A fuzzy model of 3-Dimensional PID parameter regulating rules is established, which can be used in self-adaptive fuzzy controller through simulating tests. An improved algorithm at designing fuzzy controller is given in Chapter 5. The fuzzy control rules used in software design of system control strategy are obtained by tests and regulating the rules on simulating system in Chapter 6. Intel 80c196kc microprocessor is used in the hardware system of intellectual control system of diesel engines. To the real-time control of multi-environment of diesel engines, multi-CPU bus structure is adopted to enhance the reliability. To enhance the fuzzy reasoning speed of the controller, the author investigates on the design of hardware based on fuzzy control chip FlOO in Chapter 7.Tests results prove that PID parameter on time self-adaptive regulation can be realized to improve the control quality in dynamic environment and multi-input/multioutput state by using diesel engine fuzzy intellectual control system which combines fuzzy controller and PID controller. The main problems at control parameter real-time regulating and over-time regulating have been solved. It lies a solid foundation to realize the real-time multi-target management system of diesel engine locomotive.It comes to the conclusions by investigating on fuzzy controller and degreeincrement structure made by PD controller that PID parameter on lone re~ul鄑ing can be realized and regulating time is shortened.
