The basic research goal of this dissertation lies in the mechanism of analysis road safety design; build the framework of quantification method on road safety level.Road safety design is the method system to modify and correct road design by the view of safety. Implement road safety design scientifically, can raise road efficiently operate safety quality. Because fundamental mechanism is still unclear, especially the quantification method of road safe level has not been built yet, the research of this dissertation have certain meaning.This dissertation is subject to freeway. First part analyses the related law of accident and its factors via the basic work of the statistical analysis and site prospecting, preliminary establish study field and factors?cluster.The main factor of road traffic accident is person, therefore study the crucial rule of road safe design mechanism, and also lie in how to analyze the condition such as road geometry to act on impact the behavior of vehicle person. This dissertation handles the driving information model as the origin, leads into the concept of driving expectation speed and road supply speed, define the concept æŠffset between transferring rate of driving expectation speed and road supply speed?as the key index of road safety level.To measure driving expectation speed, this dissertation makes the concept of driving behavior coefficient to calculate degree of power control of driver for vehicle, and related ~aw is studied between driving behavior coefficient and road geometry, through marking the feature curve of driving behavior coefficient in various type road sections, the calculation model of expectation speed is established. To it relative should, through making statistics process, determine the calculation model of road supply speed. As the result, a quantification model for freeway road safety level is accomplished. This model adopts the logic course of æ‘oad geometry-driver behavior-safety level? and it can be thought as the crucial method in road safety design.The algorithm of above-mentioned model cannot be realized with simple formula, so it is necessary to develop the supplementary means. As the necessary aid, a software program is researched and developed, named æŠreeway safety design support platform. This program aim to realize the algorithm of the safety level quantification of road design and offer database, interface, and integrated environment for overall research.Finally, according to test freeway, the research system is modified and tested. The algorithm process of the safety level quantification of road design is finished, and the calculation result 梖reeway segment抯 safety index value- is offered. Furthermore, contrast between calculation result and actual accident data is processed to make sure the program feasibility.
