ACEG (AC-Excited Generatcr) have many excellent characteristics, it may improving the stability of electric power system, its rotor rotate speed may variable, it can抰 lose step even when operated in d~p lead phase, it especially applied in pumped-storage hydraulic power pliant. It is an important research field in electric power system. ACEG has been oper~d uuccess(ul in some countries, but it hasn抰 been industrial operated in our country until now. Excitation control system playu an important role in utilize ACEG. So, the main purpose of this thesis is research a high reliable modular digital micro-computer excitation equipment system fit to iru1~iattial conclitiQns. In this paper, the mathematical models of ACEG in static three-phase coordinates and in rotary two-phase coordinates are stuWed; the stator voltage oriented vector control strategy is also studied. The process of active power and re-active power regulating is analyzed. Through the study of the core circuit of ACEG excitation equipment i.e. AC-AC frequency converter, an improved cesine cross rithnidic that conveniently progress by computer is proposed. The main control system is catnpo.ed of PC 104 serials industrial control modules in this paper. The features of th~e modules such as lower power consuming high anti-jamming property compatible with PC in hardware and software make the excitation system have following properties, may use the current hardware and software resources of PC bus comp~.ators, decrease the development spending, condense the development periodicals, enhance product perforn~nce. The communication technique! In the equipment us the anployed of CAN network. The using of CAN solve the low communicate rate in normal serial port such as RS232 and RS485, it also overcome the shortage of dual-port RAM such as complexity structure in many designs. The wlxle excitation system simple in structure, possess 桰l. high reliability, real-time and flexile performance. In the design of lower computer system, the micro controller 87C196KD and programmable system device PSD5O1 is employed, it makes the system have compact structure, high anti-jamming property and flexile configuration. In this paper, the simulation program is written to simulate the dynamic performance of ACEG and AC-AC frequency converter. It establishes the foundation to the excitation system test.
