In this paper, emphasis is laid on the researches of knowledge representation, knowledge obtaining tactics, color scheme reasoning, color scheme evaluation modeling and color sensibility evaluation. According to the contemporary scheme motif of human-orientation, technologies of expert system are applied to the field of electromechanical product color scheming for the first time, which led to the implementation of a mechanical color scheme expert system - MCSES.On the base of analyzing the theories on color constitution, principles of color scheming in MCSES are presented. On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of electromechanical color scheme knowledge, a scheme is presented by combining the four knowledge representation methods of production rule, frame, procedure and direct representation in MCSES. On the basis of Client / Server database technologies, the MCSES database is constructed in Oracle DBMS. In this paper, characteristics and difficulties of knowledge obtaining in MCSES are analyzed in detail, and then a knowledge-obtaining tactic of expert orientation is applied to MCSES for the first time. In order to simplify the procedure of knowledge migration, a man-machine knowledge obtaining subsystem is developed on the basis of relative algorithm and implementation scheme. According to the logic of experts in handling electromechanical product color scheming, several reasoning tactics are presented. The method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is applied to color scheming for the first time, which is proved to be effective in modeling the evaluation logic of experts. A simplified color model is put forward by summarizing color schemes of electromechanical products. On the detailed research on color sensibility, a numeration relationship between color and vision is defined with the definition of degree-reference-parameter. Transition between color space models of RGB and HSV is implemented. Methods and algorithms of inferring primary color, adjunctive color and intersperse color are presented, which led to the implementation of color scheming in MCSES. To show the ultimate scheming result, the function of color scheme preview in MCSES is implemented successfully. Finally, test examples of the main software modules are put forward.
