Study On Key Questions Of Distributed Collaborative Management Of Design Workflow In The Integrated Environment Of MC-PDM And ERP

Mass customerization is one of the leading methods of modern manufacturing. The technology of product data management, which adapted by traditional large-scale manufacturing, would be MC-PDM to fit Mass customerization. So the integration environment of PDM and ERP becomes the integration environment of MC-PDM and ERP which requires the integration of design workflow and cooperative management to meet with the requirement of rapid customerization, grouping of product, reducing cycle and cost of design and production. The Technology of computer support collaborative design improves product design process of enterprise. Collaborative design workflow integration and Access Control (CDWIAC) is the basis of collaborative design integration system.Sponsored by China national 863 project Collaborative Business and Integrated Design System with Mass Customization (No. 2001AA412010) and Zhejiang province key project Research on Mass Customization Product Configuration Technique and Its Application in Elevator Manufacture Field (No. 021101279), this dissertation made a systemic research and experience on CDWIAC. An collaborative design integration system is constructed with collaborative workflow integration, collaborative document management, collaborative project management, collaborative resource access control and collaborative workflow access control, which is well applied in those projects and some ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) enterprise.The research has the important value on the theory and practice. The main content of this dissertation shows as follows:In the lst chapter, the computer support collaborative work and its application in design are reviewed from computer support collaborative work, collaborative design, collaborative product definition management and collaborative product commerce. After the current state of collaborative product development and access control are explained, lacks of those research are given, the author presents the framework of collaborative design workflow management and access control. Finally, the research background and the main work of this dissertation are described briefly.In the 2nd chapter, a framework of collaborative product design workflow modeling and management is built. The model classifies the collaborative workflow integration related contents (project management, BOM, organization management, product design, configuration design, resource, commerce business process, etc.) four catalogs as static resource, application, workflow and knowledge, to construct the activities of collaborative workflow. The control of workflow is classified as basis type, divergent type and aggregative type. The relationship between activities and controls, resources is defined to analyze the executive status of the workflow. Formal description and related figures of activities, control and relationship is presented. Finally, an extended model of the integration workflow is built.In the 3rd chapter, a model of collaborative document workflow management is presented. Collaborative document workflow management includes collaborative design, document management and design workflow, which is described by the definition of document set, the relationship of documents and collaborative document operation. The management process is described by the identification of document file type, the operation rules of collaborative documents and collaborative document workflow control.In the 4th chapter, a review of Engineering Change Management (ECM) related papers finds a lack of those applied in enterprise alliance. An enterprise alliance ECM model was designed. The model defines the ECM related information of BOM, project management and workflow management with distributed product data management, and describes the integration procedure ofdistributed resources and workflows in enterprise alliance formally. Workflows integrate under resource planning and a conflict resource set detects with the procedure, then engineering change business process re-engineering is planned with higher efficiency.In the 5t...
