The failure of huge and high-speed landslide brings big disasters to mankind and cause enormous loss, especially landslide in reservoir, and its rock and soil masses enter into reservoir at a high speed in very short time, can not only destroy buildings, block riverway, but also can evoke great surge which can threaten transportations of riverway, dam and people's properties and lives on the landslide and in reservoir area.The research on landslide surge in reservoir is premised with calculation of landslide speed and analysis of geometrical parameters of landslide, and the dynamic changing rule of the surge due to rock and soil masses entering into reservoir must be based on dynamic changing rule of landslide speed, therefore, it is very necessary to calculate speed and master its changing rule of the landslide in reservoir correctly. The analyses of landslide speed and surge begin with its geometrical parameters, and the creep of landslide before slip is a condition of sudden startup of landslide. It is very important to research shear strength parameters in a state of movement in terns of residual strength parameters at rest.In terms of deformation characteristics of the landslide before slip, the least square method is employed to put forward the calculation method about strain and strain energy of grain of rock and soil masses in active-slip area, and its calculation data of this method are from monitoring data. The finite element method is used to establish inverse analysis method of semi-shear-strength parameters in the state of movement. The landslide startup speed is calculated by the stain energy. The Newton law and the basic principles of kinematics are adopted to solve velocity and acceleration of slice, and the sensitivity and correlativity of influencing factors of landslide speed are evaluated, and the influences of slice forcing manner and slice width on landslide speed are analyzed. The volume conversation law is employed to calculated volume-surge and impact-surge. Differential equations including basic continuity equation of transient flow in open channel and its movement equation and head lost are used to analyze decay and climbing height of landslide surge. This dissertation takes Xintan landslide in the reservoir of Three-Gorges as an example. The conclusions are as follows:1.
