Landslide surge is the phenomenon which happens when the rock mass shears down along the slope of a weak structure by gravity,and interacts with water after water entry.Landslide will cause serious damage to the buildings,wharfs and ships,and even threaten the lives of residents in the process of sliding and propagation.Therefore,the study of landslide surge has always been a hot and difficult topic in the field of engineering research.At present,in the view of the lack research on the correlation between landslide surge characteristic parameters and ship's non-linear motion,this paper,by means of physical model test and programming simulation,reveals the propagation law of scattered block landslide surge and obtains surge characteristic parameters.And more,it shows the response of ship's maneuvering motion under landslide surge and provides theoretical guidance to the ship navigation.Firstly,based on the mathematical model group(MMG)theory,theoretical calculation and empirical formula,a Four-Degree-of-Freedom ship maneuvering mathematical model is built.Secondly,through the landslide surge model test of scattered block,the propagation characteristics of landslide surge are analyzed from the aspects of initial surge and the surge along the landslide section,which theoretically supports for the selection of surge model.Also,the surge characteristic parameters is recorded for the subsequent simulation calculation.The results show that the landslide surge has strong randomness and irregularity.The landslide surge tend declines both in time and space.Moreover,the magnitude of landslide surge is affected by the volume of landslide.The larger the volume is,the higher the initial surge wave height is.Then,on the basis of the established mathematical model of ship maneuvering motion and the test results,the four degree of freedom maneuvering motion simulation program is constructed by MATLAB software.The program simulates the ship maneuvering motion in the situation of still water,conventional wave and landslide surges.The ship's rotational motion in conventional waves and landslide surges is simulated and analyzed from three aspects: wave direction,wave height and rudder angle.The results show that the ship's rotational trajectory deviates at an angle along the direction of wave propagation;the ship's roll angle increases with the increase of the surge height of conventional waves or landslides and the increase of rudder angle.Finally,this paper takes Tuokou section of Yiwan Yangtze River Bridge and an inland river cruise ship as the research object,analyzes the safety of ship navigation under the effect of landslide surge,and predicts the maximum rolling angle and ship navigation trajectory.The scientific suggestions is valuable for ship navigation safety.
