At present, Geographical Information System(GIS) has been becoming more widely used in many technological fields. It has some particular advantages such as the special ability of geographical spatial analysis, the fast spatial position search and complicated query, the strong graphical creation and visualization, the evolutive simulation of geographical process and providing the support for spatial decision-making. As a result, a new as well as potential approach for the development of geotechnial engineering has been provided. This paper pays attention to the study of GIS development and application basing on the specialized characteristic of geotechinal slope engineering. A large scale network distributed GIS software system is developed integrating the intelligent analysis of slope safety assessment, the system(Intelligent Geotechnical engineering information Analysis System, IGIAS) will provide an useful and effective analysis platform for slope design, construction and safety monitoring. The main contents of this paper are listed as bellows:1. Aiming at the prediction problem of nonlinear displacement of slope deformation, the Genetic Evolutionary model, Evolutionary Neural Network model and Evolutionary Support Vector Machine basing on the foundational theory of time series analysis are introduced in this paper.2. This paper puts forward a new hazard zonal approach for slope safety assessment. Based on dynamic cluster analysis and in situ monitoring data, Evolutionary Support Vector Machine is introduced to deal with it, the hazard zonal process and final three dimensional dynamic hazard zone graphs are fulfilled in the IGIAS platform.3. Through the study on the three dimensional modeling and assistant analysis of slope site, the slope models are created including of strata information model, construction excavation modes, three dimensional cave model, faults, underground water distribution face, typical monitoring facilities and construction measures. Some new algorithms are put forward such as spatial self-adaptive generation of three dimensional slope strata, cave emulation based on strata information, and the fast display of three dimensional slope scene.4. The integration of slope safety assessment and three dimensional slope information system is also studied, this paper discusses the overall design and development realization and introduces some synthetical analysis functions of the integrating system.5. A large scale integrating analysis software named IGIAS with self-contained copyright has been developed using the programming tools Visual C++ and DirectX. Basing on the programming thoughts of DLL and ActiveX, it is successfully...
