| The single pile platform is a kind of simple platform fit for the exploitation of the marginal oil field in shallow sea. In order to improve it's reliability under terrible conditions, the tuned mass damper (TMD), which is comparatively mature in the field of vibration control of civil engineering structures, is introduced for the first time to the vibration control of the single pile platform. The feasibility of the control of dynamic response of the single pile platform by using the TMD is researched respectively under the wave load and the lateral seismic force.Under the wave load, by using the random vibration theory, the control effect of the TMD on the wave response of the single pile platform is analyzed respectively according to whether the fluid-pile-soil interaction is considered or not. The influence of the TMD's parameters to the control effect is also discussed. The analysis result indicates that the TMD has a very distinct control effect on the wave response of the single pile platform, so, the TMD is very fit for the wave response control of the single pile platform.Under the lateral seismic force, the control effect of the TMD on the seismic response of the single pile platform is analyzed respectively according to whether the pile-soil dynamic interaction is considered or not. The influence of the TMD's parameters to the control effect is also discussed. Not considering the pile-soil dynamic interaction, by using the random vibration theory and the time-history analysis method respectively, the seismic response equation of the single pile platform with the TMD is analyzed. The results indicate the TMD has a good control effect on the seismic response of the single pile platform. Considering the pile-soil dynamic interaction, an applied and reasonable calculation model is adopted, and the method to determine the parameters of the pile-soil dynamic interaction is discussed in detail. By using the time-history analysis method, the seismic response equation of the single pile platform with the TMD is also analyzed.
