For the cement concrete as the mass artificial construction material, there are prominent problems with resource, energy and environment and the consumption of resource and energy as well as their impact on the global environment will be significant with increase of the volume of cement and concrete used. In traditional manufacture of cement, the consumption of raw materials is quite a lot with a large volume of waste gas and dust discharged, which give serious pollution to the environment. How to make the concrete meeting the requirements of sustainable development and having harmony with the environment becomes nowadays the target of the concrete development. At present, the industrial waste residues, such as fly ash, blast furnace slag and lithium slag etc are used as the additive for the cement or concrete. However, to make these additives mixing materials to substitute cement can't give full play to the properties of these materials. The activation of waste materials by alkali is a widespread research project nowadays and compared with ordinary cement concrete, these materials have advantages of low hydration heat, high early strength, high impermeability and excellent durability. In this study an effective treatment of waste residue (by chemical activation and grinding) has been carried out. The concrete with alkali-activated waste residue composites,or AAW in short, prepared by activation of blast furnace slag, fly ash, lithium slag, limestone powder and their combination is studied. , In this study a way for mass utilization of different waste solids is offered following the principle of using less cement or clinker or without it for protecting the environment and lowering the pollution to the environment from one hand, and to give full play to the potential of various industrial waste residue with finding a new way to make the most of their activity from the other. The main results of this study are summed up as follows:(1)Taking the alkali slag concrete as basic group, when 10%~30% of ground lithium slag is added, the slump of concrete is increased, the slag has some water reducing effect on the alkali slag concrete; when the dosage is 40%, the slump of concrete is about the same as that of concrete without addition. When the addition of fly ash is 40%, the concrete has the most increase of slump with the best fluidity; when the...
