The military helicopter has become a shock power in the army, for its particular advantages, such as maneuver ability, operability and attack ability. In the future, the helicopter will play a more and more important role. Anti-helicopter mine (AHM) is the right weapon system raised on the basis of the requirement to deal with the helicopter. It can complement the defect of existing antiaircraft weapon system.Now, the prevalent detection method of AHM is compound mode, in which the technology of passive detection is the primary one. Because the distance can not be detected accurately, it is difficult to estimate the location and the velocity of the target. As a contrast, the detection of angle is relatively accurate. With the development of the high speed warhead exploded on the ground, it is possible to lower the cost of the AHM with only passive detection method which is based on angle tracking method. It is a new approach to estimate the future angle of the target using the former and current angles of the target. The BAT-AHM makes the attack on the target very effective, which brings a new way to the study on AHM.The problems in the study on AHM include passive angle tracking for the helicopter, the evaluation of damage ability based on angle tracking-anti-helicopter mine (BAT-AHM) and the realization of steer system in BAT-AHM. In order to solve these problems, firstly, this paper brings out the angle tracking approach for the target being in non-maneuvering and maneuvering situation. Secondly, the damage problem of BAT-AHM which compounds the approach and the high velocity warhead exploded on the ground is studied, and then the approach feasibility is validated by simulation experiments. At last, the steer system has been designed, which puts forward the advice for the feasibility of AHM industrialization.Thinking about the state of the helicopter in future war, the traces of the helicopter cruising and maneuvering have been designed. By using these traces, the research for the analyzing of passive angle tracking of AHM and the measurement of distance and direction can be done successfully. The simulation experiments data for the evaluating of angel tracking method can be gotten too.When the target is in the state of non-maneuvering flight, the mathematical method has been put forward. By using of the method, target velocity and optimal locating of AHM can be computed. Monte Carlo simulation experiments demonstrate that the azimuth error of the optimal locating ranges from -1.5 degrees to 1.5 degrees and the elevation angle error of the optimal locating ranges from -2 degrees to 2 degrees.On the other hand, when the target in the state of maneuvering flight, the approaches of Pseudo Linear Kalman Filter Adaptive Angle Tracking (PLKFAAT), Extended Kalman...
