Study On The Composition Of Chinese Traditional Gardens

The Chinese traditional garden is a rich cultural heritage.Traditional inheriting is the foundation of innovation, but the tradition can be used in modern age by what kind of mechanism is a question which is worth studying. The research on the traditional garden stressed on the literature record and the description or concentrated on the elaboration of design ideas for a long time, but lacked the deep and concrete research on intrinsic structure relations in Chinese traditional gardens. It will be go deeper into the understanding to Chinese traditional gardens if we do research into the relations between the essential factors of gardens.The Chinese traditional gardens has the same expression characteristic and esthetic characteristic just as the other artistic forms which are demanded by integrity characteristic of traditional culture, if we regard the Chinese traditional gardens to the background of the Chinese traditional culture. The overall structural relations of Chinese traditional gardens has the patterning organization characteristic and the individuality creative idea and the method just as other artistic form like drawing, the literature and so on. If we study on the overall composite relation ,the characteristic of space forms and space structures from the view of entirety when we do research into the garden heritage and establish the relation between these characteristic and the context of the overall Chinese traditional culture ,we may comprehand the Chinese traditional garden further more and it will has great significance to advancing the study on Chinese traditional gardens. At the same time, it also can offer reference to create garden forms having Chinese esthetic characteristic and grasp the characteristic of Chinese traditional garden from a deeper plane.The present paper selects the outstanding models of Chinese traditional garden and launches the research on the structure of space form in Chinese traditional garden from the view of morphology with typology and the pattern language theory .It study on the elementary space form formed by scenery factors and study on the structural relations of garden space form and its characteristic further more proceeded with the study on the relations between the composite factors of traditional garden. It has discussed deeply on the composite feature of Chinese traditional garden, the significance of this kind of form structural characteristic, the tradition of the creative method , the esthetic consciousness, thinking mode reflected from these Chinese traditional gardens in this paper .And it also discusses the relations between the traditional and modern garden creative way and seeks the renewal way.The present paper has obtained the following achievements through analysis and study on the composition of traditional garden:1.
