This project is supported by the Ministry of Water Resources to participate in technological innovation projects "Low-lift pumping station hydraulic characteristics of the original model conversion studies (SCX2003-12)", The National Natural Science Foundation project "Low-lift large pumping station transition process identity (50279045)", The Office of Jiangsu Province irrigation project "with the installation of pumping stations hydraulic models to choose and research", the Office of Jiangsu Province irrigation project, "Connecting Liyang start pumping stations and the flow of the transition process research field testing" and the Shanghai project, "Shanghai Pudong International Airport XUEJIAHONG pumping stations pump device modelling studies" and some topics of research results.Hydro mechanical model is not only the most important means of hydro mechanical characteristics, but a important foundation of constructing hydraulic characteristics of the original model conversion . And many hydro mechanical modelling results are much lower than the rotational speed pump, or pumps, identity and characteristics of low-lift pumps installing particularly against its original character conversion mechanics are rarely seen in the pilot study reports. First phase project of diverting water from the Eastern from the Yangtze River to Shandong province Dongpinghu located 13 stairs, a total of 34 Block, pumping stations, installed capacity 131050kW, 1468m~3/s installed flow. The new building will be built including 21 Block 13 pumping stations, installed capacity 233540kW, installed flow 2976.4 m~3/s. In the Diverting water from the Eastern part of a water supply project, installed capacity 364590kW, the total installed capacity 4444.4 m~3/s of fixed pumping stations are low-lift pumping large station. In addition, in other inter-basin water, municipal areas for drainage, there are a large number of low-lift pumping stations in operation. These irrigation protect facitities make an important contribution to regional water conservancy facilities, towns for drainage, protection of industrial and agricultural production and the life of the residents. To predict the long-term operation performance stability of large low-lift pumping station works.It's in need of theoretical and experimental studies for low-lift pumping station hydraulic characteristics of the original conversion.Low-lift pump device conversion efficiency original model is complex, involving many factors difficult to satisfactorily resolved, the low lift pumping station is an important research subject, and the long-term stability and closely related to security economic performance and researching its hydraulic conversion character has important theoretical and practical significance of the project. But modern theory hydrodynamics (turbulence model theory)is not still very mature, many large construction projects for water pumping stations identity conversion theoretical research brought serious challenges, the current low-lift pumping station hydraulic identity theory is the hot and difficult one of pumping stations engineering studies . In view of this, thE article from the installation of the hydraulic pump theory loss analysis, the flow of market testing, CFD calculations, device modelling, prototype and field testing of low-lift pump device made in-depth study of the original model conversion efficiency, and the original model for low-lift pump installation of the hydraulic characteristics of conversion of research results apply to major projects — the practice of diverting water from east line project to solve practical problems.
