The Pump inlet is the first line of mark for water flow into the pump station, have an influence on stable water flow,Especially for stable pumping station into the pool of water, Ensure the wate stability into the pumping station,ect, and have very important significance to improve the operational efficiency for pumping station. There is no doubt that the best pattern is the front inflow of Pumping Station form all patterns about water inlet.But most of pumping station was built in the river side,this is means that the river wate into pumping station must passes through side-inlet. So is very common that construction of medium and small pumping stations apply side-inlet way. Research and analysis the side-inlet pumping station all-sided,based on the large computational fluid dynamics doftware CFX, adopting with3D mumerical simulation technique.In accordance with the study indicste side-inlet on the influence of river water and side-inlet nearwater diversion channels,then to do optimization model for research.
