Supply chain extends a single organization's boundary to a network composed by suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers whereby materials flow from the suppliers through manufacturers and distributors to the customers. It has been introduced to address the integration of organizational functions ranging from the ordering and receipt of raw materials throughout the manufacturing process, to the distribution and delivery of products to the customers. Supply chain management is regarded as one of the most important enabling techniques of agile manufacturing. It can do centralized resource managing and scheduling among dynamic allied enterprises by resources sharing and information integrating to optimize the utilization of resource, and finally get a best profit for each enterprise in the supply chain. An integrated Supply chain management system can improve the collaboration mechanism and the supply relationship among different enterprises; provide direct market information and broad distribution channel, and therefore increase the comprehensive benefits of enterprises.Based on the analysis and overview of related literatures and research status quo in supply chain management, this dissertation is mainly concerned with the following contents:1 Integrated modeling of Supply chain management systemThis thesis presents a set of modeling methodology meeting the requirement of supply chain management system--Web Service based Process Model, WSBPM, to integrate the external services in the cross-enterprise processes. Then four types of service model primitives: service interface, service activity, placeholder and service wrapper are introduced to support the dynamic integration of external services; three types of enhanced abilities: service control, service awareness and service selection are utilized to enable the system to make full use of web services integrated in the cross-enterprise process. The concept state tree is brought forward to model enterprise applications precisely. Traditional control flow transition is extended to enable the system to utilize application specific states defined in service interface in control flow. The extended control flow transition can also enable the system to coordinate the execution of service activities. Based on the primitives introduced and the enhanced abilities of the model, the general structure of the WSBPM model is presented, and the function of each module of the system is given. The architecture of the prototype system is brought forward, and the parallel execution and pipelining technique the coordination engine used is researched.2 Design methodology for Web service based process modelBased on the brief introduction of service interface and specification, the way of describing business process features is put forward. Design methodology and engineering principles for WSBPM model are presented: service design principles are given in service coupling and service cohesion; service non-functional design principles is given in service provision strategy, service policy management model, service programming style and authorization design considerations. The method modeling the main business process as hierarchical structure, and extracting the main business process as business process template is presented to increase the reusability of business process in different enterprises. Based on the business process modeling method, business process design, information subsystem design of system design and system development procedure is briefly introduced.3 Research on the interoperability between mobile agent and web serviceAnalyzed the reason to introduce mobile agent into supply chain management system, and briefly reviewed the mobile agent theory. Then architecture, behavior model and task model for mobile agent are presented to establish the foundation for the interaction between mobile agents. Three types of interaction patterns, i.e. Query-ref interaction, Request interaction and Subscribe/Cancel interaction are given to solve the communication issues. The interaction procedure between mobile agent and web service is constructed. The interoperation technique between mobile agent and web service is then presented, i.e. agent can act not only as web service client, but also as web service itself to interact with other web service based processes. The technique can solve the interoperation problems between mobile agent and web service better.4 The design and realization of supply chain management prototype system On the basis of brief introduction of web service framework, according to the design methodology and principles proposed, a WSBPM model based supply chain management prototype system, SCMPS-NWPU, is realized to integrate the web services with different behaviors provided by retailers, manufacturers and suppliers. The prototype system can integrate web service from different business entities into a single model. It can also dynamically select and invoke the external services provided by allied enterprises. So it can better meet the requirements of integrated modeling of supply chain management system.
