ERA has very high protection level against shaped charge jet. The basic physical mechanisms associated with a shaped charge jet penetrating ERA were described in many previous works. In the previous disturbing model, the fly-plate was thought as rigid body with no deformation and accelerating process was neglected. In according to the physical phenomenal of flying-panel deformation in confined-explosive structure, the plates are deformed in their flying process. If this deformation and the accelerating process are ignoed, it can affect the evaluate precision of the interact process between ERA and the shaped charge jet. The the interaction mechanism between the thin moving plate and the shaped charge jet is analyzed by theoretic models, numerical simulations and experiments systematically on base of the moving plate crate mechanism. The study gives a theoretic foundation and technical support. So the major study context in this paper includes those:(1) The moving rule and deformation process of flying plate of ERA is studied. In according to the physical process of flying plate scatter, the theoretic and numerical models, which contain plate bulging and accelerating process, are established and calculated. Based on the moving rule of flying-panel, the velocity displacement and rotate angle of every plate element at any time can be obtained. The variation laws of some important parameters are obtained.(2) The disturbance mechanism on the shaped charge jet by ERA at nomal penetration is studied. Based on the particulated model of the shaped charge jet in atmosphere, the formula of jet breakup in denotation site is deduced, which firstly describes the denotation pressure of ERA influenced on jet particlate. Upon the model of jet particulate in denotation site and atmosphere, the breakup mode of jet penetration into ERA normally is founded. The theoretical results show good agreement with experiment data.(3) The disturbance mechanism on the shaped charge jet by ERA at oblique penetration is studied. According to the deformation of flying plate, the variation laws of velocity component of flying plate before and after deformation in interaction are analyzed. By analyzing on the physical phenomena on the interaction between jet and flying-plate, the model of jet disrupted by ERA with considering flying-plate deformation at oblique penetration is obtained. The conception of critical disruption is presented and the formula of critical disruption is derived. The mechamsm of jet disturbed by double ERA and V-shaped ERA is also studied. (4) The penetration of Residual jet is evaluated. Based on the quasi-steady penetration theory, with considering the disturbance caused by flying-plate and denotation of ERA together, the penetration model of residual jet is established. The factors effecting the penetration are analyzed.
