In order to meet the development requirements of miniaturization initiators, The measuring technology of detonation parameters in micro-scale becomes an urgent research topic. This paper mainly studied the optical fiber and PDV-Free face velocity technology aimed at detonation velocity and pressure of sub-millimeter groove charge. The main contents are as follows:(1) Optical fiber method was used to study the detonation velocity measuring of SY eutectic primary sub-millimeter groove charge. It was studied that effect of optical fiber’s structure parameters on the rise time and amplitude of signal, and studied the effect of structure parameters and space of optical fiber, data sampling rate on the test precision. When the numerical aperture was0.22, and distance between optical fiber was10mm, and sampling rate was10GS/s, most accurate velocity of JO-9C was8.598mm/us, the minimum standard deviation was0.172, the minimum average absolute error was2.16%.(2) It was measured the detonation pressure of JO-9C sub-millimeter groove charge by PDV-Free face velocity. The average detonation pressure was1.10GPa, the standard deviation was0.05, the average absolute error was3.6%. It was based on the error transfer theory that the corrected detonation pressure was1.137GPa, and confirmed that the most influence of test precision was the error of the metal free surface velocity;(3) It was measured the miniature detonator-driven flyer plate by PDV, the detonator of inner diameter and length was0.9mm and3mm respectively. When the accelerating chamber was alloy steel, the thickness of0.1mm titanium flyer’s velocity was1453m/s, the thickness of0.25mm titanium flyer’s velocity was581m/s; when the accelerating chamber was duralumin, the thickness of0.1mm titanium flyer’s was only80m/s. According to the theorerical model, it was calculated the relationship of flyer velocity and flyer thickness under alloy steel chamber, the results showed that the velocity of flyer was decreased with the increase of its thickness.
