The method to assess firing accuracy of Multiple Launch Rocket System(MLRS) has been paid great and wide attention at home and abroad, which is deeply studied by using launch dynamics, data statistics, simulation theory and technology, in this paper. The rounded methods to test and assess firing accuracy of MLRS are presented in the paper.From the viewpoint of large system dynamics including rockets, gun, propellant and launch environment, the whole process of MLRS from the ignition to level point is simulated by using simulation system for firing accuracy of MLRS established in the paper. The firing scheme substituting non-full charge loading test for full charge loading test is established and the number of rockets is decreased. The relations between range and firing accuracy is studied, and the firing accuracy quantity between most large range and middle range is presented. The relativity of influence factors to firing accuracy of MLRS is analyzed. The consistency test method for simulation information is studied based on baysian theory. Based on the characteristics of MLRS, the systemic and applied methods to test and assess firing accuracy of MLRS are presented. The finalize the design test problem of MLRS is solved.The developments are made in the papers as follows:(1) The thought of substituting non-full charge loading test for full charge loading test and substituting simulation test for flight test is presented, the number of rockets is decreased.(2) By using the firing accuracy simulation system, the middle range firing accuracy index is computed based on the most large range index, and the number of target used in test is decreased, which is more easier for test implement.(3) The programming consistency test method for simulation information is presented, which can ensure the confidence level of simulation information.(4) The fusion method of information from simulation and test is studied, the number of test groups is decreased.(5) The systemic and applied methods to test and assess firing accuracy of LRMLRS are established, which can satisfy the urgent need of finalize the design testof MLRS.
