China is a mountainous country which owns vast population and limited farmland, and the land resources is serious insufficient. Say from the land utilization's development trend and its intensity, the utilization, development and conservation of hillside land has become one of the most important topics of China's future human settlements research.The hillside land has the rich natural ecology character and humanistic ecology character, from the waterfront region to the inland region, from the basin area to the hilly area, from the plateau zone to the desert zone, the cultural internal factor presents the quite different character along with the natural ecology in different regions, the polyphyletic cultural ecology is closely related to the regional natural ecology, and they constitutes the colorful world together.
