| Freeway and urban are two relatively independent and interdependent systems. To achieve the smooth connecting of Freeway and urban roads is the first premise and guarantee of building a sustainable expressway-urban system. This paper studied the connecting theory and methods of the connected-way based on a large number of relevant research results, aiming at providing theoretical support and method guidance for the connecting.Firstly, this paper has a definition of Freeway, urban road and connected-way, and analyses the structure of the connecting system and traffic flows. Then the connotation of the coordinate connecting is brought forward and the theoretical framework of urban roads and Freeway connecting system consisted of many functional modules such as the connecting object system, coordinate development, the scale, layout, evaluation of connected-way is established, and the main function of each functional module is set up.Secondly, this paper analyses the dialectical development relationship between Freeway and urban, and studys the compsition of the expressway-urban system in terms of transportation. The connotation and mechanism of the system coordinated development is discussed, and the theoretical model of expressway-urban coordinated development is established. After that, this paper has a study on the relationship and connecting modes between the urban form and Freeway, and gives an example.Thirdly, in terms of sustainable development, this paper gives an annotation of the connecting object of Freeway and urban roads, and has some research on objective system used to guide the connected-way planning and the objective system includes space index, operating quality index, traffic environment control index and urban coordinated development index of the connected-way. And also studys the quantized method of these main indexes.Then, the paper has a definition of the scale and capacity of the connected-way and put forwards a method to determine the scale of the connected-way based on the 'Four Phases'. Furthermore, the paper has a deeply analysis of the implementation steps of this method and the combination of the whole region OD matrix used for traffic demand forecast. According to the functional characteristic of the connected-way and relevant technical specifications, the grade of the connected-way and the proper level of serviese are studied and the vehicle lanes scale of the connected-way is determined. Also this paper discusses the cross-sectional elements and the cross-sectional forms of the connected-way.Then the paper has a deeply analysis of the impact factors and guiding principles of the connecting layout and has a clear general idea of the layout of convergence and procedures. According to the characteristics of the connected-way layout, puts over a comprehensive approach of the connected-way based on the important level and the traffic location, and has a in-depth exploration on the fundamental theory and computing technology and procedures of the comprehensive layout approach, and conducts empirical research.Lastly, this paper has a study on the content and process of the connected-way comprehesive evaluation. And approachs a comprehensive evaluation index system of the connecting under the principles of the adaptation of the traffic demand, the coordinate development of the urban and the traffic environment. And after the study of the quantization of each indexe, a multilevel fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP is established. Using this evaluation system, this paper evaluates the connected-way level of city Yiwu. |
