The design of Gymnasium calls for high quality of the light environment in the matching hall. We should try to achieve high quality of illumination, to create comfortable and effective light environment. The light environment quality in the matching hall of Gymnasim can straight influence the performance of athletes, the judgment of the referee and the quality of TV relay. If we try to fulfil these requirements by using artificial illumination, the e-power consumption will be massive and the operating cost will markedly increase. However, as a kind of illuminating way with no pollution and no energy consumption, the energy of natural lighting has many advantages, such as inexhaustibility, safety and pureness. Fine natural lighting can not only adapt the microclimate in the matching hall and make for good health, but also be propitious to the improvement of the athletic sports level.Under the economic environment of building up energy-saving and environmentally friendly society, focused on the current urgent problems during the natural light environment design and the press for rising the value of natural light environment in China, we shall use the scientific outlook on development to find how to bring Value Engineering Theory in the natural light environment of gymnasium. According to the principle of"people oriented", stick to the viewpoint of user-first, system and innovation,and based on the abidance by the principle of adaptation, economy and elegancy, we need to build up fine natural light environment of gymnasium which focuses on the benefit of investment, the saving of resource and the protection of the environment relying on the innovative exploration of the combination of theory and practice.Firstly, set up the design concept and the theory frame of the natural light environment design of gymnasium based on the theory of Value Engineering. On the basis of the Value Engineering theory, the disquisition emphatically discussed the feasibility of the natural light environment design in the gymnasium. Based on the value influencing factor and in the promotion essential way foundation, the thesis further discussed the market analysis and the market positioning. Confirming the Value Engineering practice process of the natural light environment design in the gymnasium, by probing into the value acknowledge of the natural light environment in the gymnasium, the thesis laid down the foundation of the development of new optimization research in design ideal, method and technology.Next, I carried on the collection of the information about stadium natural light environment design under the instruction of Value Engineering theory. Depending on the scene investigations and the studies in China, the thesis analyzed the light environment qualities and the present operation status. Deeply work over the illumination technology requirements of the matching hall by each kind of sports projects and the negative effect of the stadium natural lighting. Then promulgate an important technical problem about the stadium natural light environment design. And unified the related information, the thesis introduced the advanced design methods and the technical information on the stadium natural light environment design emphatically.Then, the thesis analyzed the function of the stadium natural light environment. Using Value Engineering activity target as the foundation, the function of natural light environment of gymnasium as direction, the synthetical requirements of people related to the benefit of the project, architects should treat the pursuit and the achievement of value as the final target of the natural light environment design of gymnasium. With the premise of satisfying users'requirements reliably, analyze the function and the cost systematically and synthetically. Strive to find low-cost method of functional achievement and to replace former methods. Improve and raise the value of the natural light environment design of gymnasium and reduce the life-cycle costing. Achieve saving energy, promoting high efficient and reusing the energy.Finally, the thesis worked out the optimization plan of the stadium natural light environment design. From the feasibility angle, I launched the stadium natural light environment design creation with the aid of the practical case. In the limited investment scope, I proposed a series of innovative methods. Within the range of limited constructional capital, use all that we can use to achieve the essential function with the lowest life-cycle costing which would be used as the detailed evaluation reference of multiplicate projects. Effectively deal with the conflict between the feature of natural light itself and the requirement of natural light environment in the gymnasium in order to finish designing projects of the natural light environment of gymnasium and the evaluation after operation. Then finally bring out the strategy of the process of the best project.
