Crop germplasm resources investigation is the foundation of crop germplasm resources work. The information of crop germplasm resources attributes, distribution and quantity are acquired in investigation works, which play an important role in crop germplasm resources protection and utilization. In recent decades years, our government has done plenty works in crop germplasm resources investigations, organized multiple investigation projects. And significant improvements and remarkable effects are acquired in resources investigation and information sharing. However, there have some disadvantages too, such as lack of unified data investigation standards, the degree of investigation informationization was not high, the investigation resources was scattered relatively, and there was no nationwide crop germplasm resources investigation information network service platform etc.According to the problems mentioned above that need to be improved in crop germplasm resources investigation process, combining the national science and base work, crop germplasm resources investigation information platform was designed, which offers an information system that is normal and convenient for investigation works, provides information supports for government making effective biological resources protection policies and scientific research. The main research results acquired in this paper are as follows:Firstly, the crop germplasm resources investigation data standards were established.To achieve uniformity and standardization, normalize the construct of database and guarantee data quality of crop germplasm resources investigation on the"data layer", investigation data, evaluation data, conservation data and general investigation data are abstracted and analyzed in this paper. And the data standards were constructed based on data element technology for crop germplasm resources investigation, the complete dataset and the mapping relationship between objects and attributes are defined.Secondly, the abstract model of heterogeneous environment investigation data resource integration, data exchange and sharing was designed.An ESB-based architecture of integration and sharing for crop germplasm resources investigation is presented based on the analysis of the traditional data integration solutions and technical features of enterprise service bus (ESB). And the data mapping and conversion model, work data flow are detailed. In the architecture, the consistency of the messages encapsulation is solved by using SOAP and the data mapping of heterogeneous database are processed by XSLT processor. Acquisition number is the keyword to connect different crop resources databases. Lastly, an effective integrated development environment to implement the architecture is recommended.Thirdly, the secure storage architecture for crop germplasm resources investigation was designed.Based on the analysis of the definition and characters of cloud storage, and combined with the characteristics of crop germplasm resources data and databases, the internal cloud storage architecture for crop germplasm resources data was designed, and the level of structure diagram, access methods, storage scalability and availability were detailed. The study on the new storage architecture gives the model for building easy extension, management and safety of crop germplasm resources data storage system.Lastly, the crop germplasm resources investigation information system (CGRIIS) is proposed.Crop germplasm resources investigation is the basis of germplasm resources management. Based on the analysis of the features of service-oriented architecture(SOA), the services domain in crop germplasm resources investigation were identified by the value chain analysis and the reference model of SOA-based crop germplasm resources investigation information system(CGRIIS) was proposed. The hierarchical structure of the reference model and the definitions of each service module functions were described. The reference model laid the foundation for system further coding and implementation.
