The multi-analysis and RAPD molecular genetic markers were used to study the markers of the economic traits in Wulong Goose as well as the development relationship of the molecular phylogenic in Wulong Goose and other seven breeds of geese. The results from the multi-analysis in 80 Wulong Goose individuals of six traits showed that five selected traits had high correlation with the target trait-body weight. The initiatory four latent roots of total six was used as the principal component. The first principal component integrated the variation information of weight and other traits that had high correlation such as shank length and body length. So the first principal component could be viewed as the comprehensive index to the selection of the body weight. l-lowever, the other principal components had low contribution to the selection of the body weight. The principal component analysis could also be used in the analysis of other traits and multi-purpose selection.Ten random primers were screened and amplified in RAPD analysis in genomic DNA of 60 Wulong goose in dividuals, and 1001 specific bands (64.5%) distributed in 56 individuals were obtained. The correlation between the specific bands and economic traits showed that ten primers (OPGO3, OPGIO, OPGI6, OPHO4, QPHO5, OPHI5, OPHI8, OPHI9, QPA13 and 0PN13 )could be used in the marker study of the goose economic traits. We had identified the combined band-pattern GI, DGHJ and GHI with OPGI6 primer, the combined band-pattern BCD with OPGIO primer, the combined band-pattern CFG with OPGO3 primer, B and D band-pattern with OPHI9 primer, B band-pattern with OPHO5 primer, combined band-pattern FH and ABDH with OPA 13 primer, type ABD with OPN 13 primer as the superiority bands to the body weight in goose. We had identified the D, G, H, I, J bands with OPGI6 primer, B, C bands with OPGIOprimer, C, G bands with OPGO3 primer, A bands with OPH 19 primer ,C band with OPH 18primer, B band with OPH 15 primer, F, H, L bands with OPHO5 primer, H, I bands with OPA 13primer, A bands with OPNI3 primer could be viewed as the dominant bands to the bodyweight traits; thereinto, the G, 1, J bands with OPG]6 primer, B band with OPGIO primer, Aband with OPH 19 primer, F band with OPHO5 primer, H band with primer OPA 13 primer, Aband with OPNI3 primer were the bands linked to the body weight traits in Wulong Goose. The combined band-pattern which contribution effect value was one time lamer than thevalue of variance of mean is looked as the superioiity type. The single band which contribution effect value is 0.5 times larger than value of the variance of mean is looked as the superiority band, one time larger as the most superiority band.T-test on the RAPD amplified products of genomic DNA polymorphism in Wulong Goose was performed Using SAS 6.12. It was found that G band with OPGO3 primer, C band with OPHO4 primer, C band, E band, F band and L band with OPHO5 primer, I, C band with OPGIO primer, B band with OPH 15 primer, C band with OPH 18 primer, A band with OPH 19 primer, B band and H band with OPA 13 primer etc had significant correlation with body weight trait in Wulong Goose. So the thirteen bands could be used as quantity trait maker loci for the selection of body weight in Wulong Goose. The pooi DNA of six Chinese breeds was amplified with forty-three random primers in order to get the RAPD map of these breeds. From the map it was found that 386 major bands, 307 ploymorphic bands and its polymorphic rate was 79.5%. The polymorphic loci were analyzed by T-test in SAS system, and 17 specific marker loci to the layer trait of mixed DNA were obtained, namely, QPG13I, OPD15C, OPD14F, I, OPEI6D, OPF2OH, K, OPFI3A, OPG]6F, OPHO5M, OPNI2E, OPGOID, F, OPE2OE and OPGO3I.The phylogentic analysis of 8 breeds of Chinese goose using RAPD technique found that the genetic structure of Chinese goose was homologous and they had the same ancestor. There was rich variation in each domestic breeds, the index of ge...
