Five manure levels were canned out based on the practical fertilization fact, which were no manure(CK), sole organic manure(SOM), theoretical manure(TM), conventional manure(CM), overabundance manure(OM).The effect of different manure levels on the growth and development, physiology, fruit quality of tomatoes was researched. The results were as followed: High manure level caused the increase of plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, leaf area, economic and biological yield. More nitrogenous fertilizer caused the increase of chloroplast number, the absorption of NO3-N and total N, the activity of nitrate reductase and the metabolism of N, which also caused the decrease of the activity of Rubisco activity,Mg2+-ATPase,Ca2+-ATPase,acid invertase, neutral invertase, , the content of sucrose ,fructose, soluble sugar ,starch , photosynthesis and the metabolism of C. The content of Vc, organic acid, free amino acid and NO3-N in tomato fruit was increased with the increase of manure level. The content of nitrate and nitrite of fruit was very low. TM was the best project based on using Grey Relativity Analysis on quality and yield of tomato fruit at different manure level. The temperature and light of winter-spring season were better than that of autumn-winter season, which were good for the growth, development and fruit quality of tomatoes. The effect of different manure level on soil environment was great. High manure level caused the obvious decrease of soil pH, the accumulation of nitrate, the great increase of EC and respiratory intensity, and it also caused the increase of soil invertase, protease activity, the decrease of soil polyphenool oxidase activity. The soil environmental factors changed more greatly in the soil with high fertilization level than those in soil with low manure level. There was a notable positive relationship between soil nitrate content, EC phosphatase activity, catalase activity and other soil factor.Although high N level in green house plantation caused the high yield of tomatoes temporarily, it also caused the imbalance of C/N, the decrease of utilization rate of N and fruit quality. It also caused fertilizer waste and environment deterioration. So it disobeyed the principle of sustainable production and high quality of fruit in green house.
