With observe and survey of fix a position and experimental method of plant physiology biochemical, the pollination biology of Catharanthue roseus in the greenhouse were systematically studied in this thesis, mainly encompassing floral morphological features, blossom tendency, quantity, longevity, vigour of pollen and stigma, pollination behavior, resources allotment, signal materials of floral formation and pollen adhesion to stigma. We attempted to reveal the characteristic of the pollination biology, and discussed the effect of pollination mechanism to reproduction and development of C. roseus. The main results as follow:1. C, roseus reflects a self-pollination system of lifetime cleistogamy. Structure of corolla tube limits the pollen to disperse outward, and makes the pollen deposit only on the stigma of the same flower.2. With capability of compute and sense to control growth height of anther and sigma. There is double safeguard mechanism to complete the interaction of pollen and stigma by inlay and adhere funtion.3. Stigma secreted an amount of nectar, nectar were important for adhesion, hydration and germination of pollen. Polysaccharide and lipids protect pollen from the evaporation and desiccation.4. The anthesis of each flower lasted 7 days, pollen longevity 9days. the receptivity of sigma could last 10 days, receptible period was the whole anthesis. there are high pollen vigor and stigma receptivity.5. Pollen tube cannot ingress style, leading to the failure of seed formation in the greenhouse. The biomass of C. roseus in the greenhouse mainly allocated to vegetative organs.
