Poplar is playing a great role on forest and ecoogical-environmental construction with its very important economic and ecological value. Application of fertilizers is an essential technological way of poplar cultivation for its consuming a lot of nutrients and declining soil fertility. Chemical fertilizers have being provided poplar nutrients as a primary method in recent 100 years. However, their negative effects are becoming more and more obvious along with application of them. So it has aroused general concern to search for new fertilizer sources, particularly biological fertilizer sources, for the purpose of replacing or partly replacing chemical fertilizers. Using atomic absorption spectrometry and flow analyzer, the experiments were conducted on bacterial fertilizers in order to find suitable bacterial fertilizers for poplar and its application technology in seedling soil and forest soil. The results were summarized as follow:1. The experiment was conducted on effects of bacterial fertilizers on poplar rootting and bulking. The results showed that varied bacterial fertilizers can obviously change the properties of poplar cuttings rootting and bulking, but cannot significantly change the seedlings survival rate. Bacterial fertilizers decreased rootting time and bulking time by 3.4-1.3d and 1.0-3.3d respectively, improved rootting speed and bulking speed by 0.6~1.9d and 0.4-1.7d respectively, increased root quantities and root length by 5.81%~54.65% and 3.53%~59.72% respectively. Ser and Pfk among the studied bacterial fertilizers can significantly improve the above-mentioned properties of poplar. Bacterial fertilizers can obviously promote poplar rootting, bulking and growing at different dipped time, its effect was 16h>24h>8h and was not significant difference.2. Various bacterial fertilizers were applied in poplar seedling soil. The results showed that bacterial fertilizers of combined bacterial-chemical fertilizer, Ser and Pfk are suitable for poplar seedlings. They can significantly increase poplar seedlings height and caliper, reaching 3.51-3.70m and 2.26-2.38cm respectively.
