In order to bring the superiority of natural resources of each production region of Citrus into full play, carry through the principle of "best varieties grown in best regions", and promote the healthy and smooth development of Citrus industry of China, the best fruit of aged Newhall navel orange from various ecological regions was studied on their existing quality, effect of major meteorological factors on fruit quality and its quality redistribution on the basis of above results as well as the best fruit of major Citrus varieties such as Newhall navel orange, Okitsu wase and Ponkan from the key production counties/cities of Hubei province was studied on their quality, soil nutrient condition of typical Citrus orchards and the quality redistribution of those varieties of Hubei province. The main results are the following: 1 Study and Redistribution on Fruit Quality of Newhall Navel Orange1.1 Quality Evaluation Factors of Newhall Navel OrangePrincipal Component Analysis with the test result of fruit quality revealed that the cumulative proportion of former 6 principal components reached 92.16%, which meaned 6 principal components could reflect the majority of quality information. By means of systematic cluster analysis with the eigenvectors of former 6 principal component, the 10 tested quality factors was clustered into 6 groups, among which Titratable Acid Content, Vc and Juice Percentage was independently clustered into 3 groups respectively, both Total Solible Solid Content and Peel Redness, Peel Brightness and Peel Yellowness were respectively clustered into 2 groups, those 3 factors of Single Fruit Weight, Fruit Shape Index and Peel Thickness was clustered into 1 group. The factors clustered into the same group were of significant correlationship, and 1 factor could be selected as the evaluation one; factor of independent-clustered group of relative independence. Therefore, 6 evaluation factors have been selected from 10 tested quality factors to simplify the evaluation course, and these 6 selected factors were (1)Total Solible Solid Content or Peel Redness; (2)Titratable Acid Content; (3)Vc; (4)Juice Percentage; (5)Peel Brightness or Peel Yellowness; (6)Single Fruit Weight or Fruit Shape Index or Peel Thickness. Furthermore, supplemented 2 integrated factors-(7)Ratio of Total Solible Solid Content to Titratable Acid Content and (8)Peel Color Angle, which composed of the comprehensive evaluation system.1.2 Fruit Quality of Newhall Navel Orange from Various Ecological Region1.2.1 Ordinary Quality: The ordinary quality of Newhall navel orange from 10 regions was suitable for fresh consumption with the value of Ratio of Total Solible Solid Content to Titratable Acid Content over 14.00, but that from various regions had different feature. The result of systematic cluster analysis of their ordinary quality showed that Gannan of Jiangxi Province, South of Hunan Province, North of Guangxi Zhuangzu...
