A comprehensive view of the home and abroad studies' survey of regional soil erosion, the paper points out that most studies of the regional scale soil erosion at present are based on a certain subject in a certain way to study a certain problem in the process of soil erosion, neglecting the regional sophistication and comprehensiveness of the regional soil erosion. Though the studies can probe deeply into a certain problem, the results are unilateralism and lacking great significance because they don' t study the regions in a systematic way from all aspects. Ground on the situation, it is quite necessary to study soil erosion on the integrality of the region and get an organic connection among the factors of erosion , environment effect , the temporal and spatial dynamics rule , harness modes and erosion prediction. From the perspective of geography, the study makes Changting county, a typical case of red soil erosion in the South China, as the study object with the guidance of integrality and comprehensiveness of regional. Using many science theories in regional geography, soil conservation science, landscape ecology, ecological economics and development technology in RS,GIS,FRAGSTATS3. 3 and Matlab, it makes a geography analysis on the soil erosion in the last 20 years-in the study region in a systemic way, trying to search for a study pattern of soil erosion in a systemic way to make up for the disadvantages of the study at present in this field. Firstly, using the characteristics of soil erosion' s temporal and spatial distribution, the paper elaborates the relativity between soil erosion and the driving factors so as to probe the natural and social attributes of soil erosion in the study region. Secondly, using landscape pattern index , the paper analyzes the development laws of erosion landscape in order to prove the influence of man-earth relation on the soil erosion in that region so that it gets some popular laws of soil erosion and it' s treatments. And then according to the temporal and spatial dynamics of the process of soil erosion and the complexity of regional characteristic, the paper compares the soil erosion differences with temporal development under different situations such as different natural and economy backgrounds and man-made interferences with the help of the temporal sequence of Markov process. With the guidance of spatial percolation theory and the influence of neighbor number on spatial process, the study simulates soil erosion' s spatial evolution in random transfer and driven by comprehensive factors respectively on the result. And it makes sure that neighbor number 24 is the best one to the soil erosion spatial simulation in the uplands red soil region of South China with the study region as the representative. The result of the simulation early warns the repetition possibility of soil erosion in the study region. Finally, the paper measures the harm of the soil erosion in the study region with ecological service value and emergy theory. Then it points out that ecological compensation is an important mechanism to improve the soil erosion treatments in the study region.
