Study On Environmental Impact Of Tea Plantations’ Temporal-spatial Expansion In Anxi County,Fujian Province | | Posted on:2018-11-23 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X Zhan | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2393330542976980 | Subject:Environmental Science | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Anxi County is a typical representative and successful example of mountain tea economic model and studying the impact of tea plantations’ temporal-spatial expansion systematically is significant to our national tea industry economy.Meanwhile,the managerial measures in Anxi’s tea garden can be used as a reference in regional economy transformation and ecological civilization construction.Based on the approach of multi-step classification,the study analyzed remote sensing images of Anxi County in the year of 1991,1998,1999,2006,2007,2010 and 2015,analyzed the trend for expansion of tea territory within studied area in different periods and carried on researches on effects of tea territory expansion of Anxi County to local environment.The study performed simulations in land use changes and precipitation condition of Anxi County respectively by using CA-Markov Model and NAR Dynamic Neural Network Model.The study carried out a predictive analysis of effects of tea plantation expansion in Anxi County on local environment,and the study also proposed reasonable suggestions on tea cultivation pattern in Anxi County.The main conclusions of the research were listed as follows:(1)Tea plantation areas in Anxi County indicated an obvious tendency of gradual rise in three stages,which were from 1991 to 1999,1999 to 2007 and 2007 to 2015.Overall,tea plantation areas in Anxi County were slow-change type,ancd the land use dynamic index of tea plantations was 12.92%.(2)The landscape of Anxi County was in a higher level of fragmentation,and it became further diversified and complicated,meanwhile the patch structure became more simple Landscape changes from the natural landscape to the artificial landscape,the overall landscape pattern evolution of Anxi county is the result of the interaction of human driving forces and natural driving forces.(3)Northern and southeast area of Anxi County suffered severe and even more intensified soil erosion.In recent years,less precipitation in Anxi County and soil erosion treatment measures in tea plantation promoted vigorously by Anxi County Government are the two main reasons that effectively prevented the soil erosion in tea plantation areas of Anxi County.(4)Soil suitability for tea planting of Anxi County was so high that 70%land in Anxi County was suitable for tea planting which meant that Anxi County had great unique advantages in development of tea economy.Recent tea plantation areas in Anxi County had high suitability and scientific planning,which meant effective use of land resources.(5)According to the model forecast,tea plantation areas will further expand to the southwest of Anxi County,and the small scattered tea plantations came into being some large plantations.The soil erosion in tea plantation areas were effectively prevented,and land suitability for tea planting increased.In order to prevent or mitigate the environmental impact caused by expansion of tea plantation areas in Anxi County,three suggestions are put forward hereby:(1)The planting choice of local tea investors and tea farmers should be guided and tea planting area of whole Anxi County should be programmed reasonably and arranged uniformly through rational scientific verification.(2)Prevention and treatment work should be done to control soil erosion of tea garden and restructure work for tea garden lacking of prevention and treatment measures should be done.Returning of tea garden to farmland and forest should be done in the area forbidden to plant tea by laws and regulations.(3)To carry more technical training courses about tea planting to help tea farmers to master science and technology on tea planting.To choose suitable tea variety based on local condition to make full use of local land resources. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Anxi County, Tea plantation areas, Landscape pattern, Soil erosion, Land suitability evaluation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
