The pathogenesis of inesangia1pro1iferatiYe g1omerulonephritis in the view oftraditiona1 chinese medicine be1ongs to yin dificiencyand dmpness--heat stagnation which is simi1ar to that ofthe symdrome of zhu1in decoction. so the hypothesis isput forward that zhu1in decoction may have a good effecton mesangial proliferative g1omeru1onephritis.In the study of animal experiments, the model ofmesangia1 pro1iferative g1omeru1onephritis is induced bymonoclona1 ati--Thy--1 antibodies, forties smples of SDmouses were radomly divided into four groups:normalcontrol group, mode1 group, zhu1 in decotion group whichwas treated by zhu1in decotion and heparin group whichwas treated by heparin, the 1evels of IL--1 6, IL--6, TNF awhich was detected by the method of radioimmunoassay(RIA) and 1L--6mRNA expression which wasdetected by reverse transcription PCR(RT--PCR) are thecoin indexes of the experiments. conc1usion: the 1eve1of IL--l 6, IL--6, TNP Q and IL--6InRNA expression increasedin mode1 group which had stastica1 difference comP8redto norma1 cOntro1 group, which decreased both in zhulindecoction group and heparin group. but compared withmode1 group, the level of IL--6mRNA in the heparin grouphad no stastica1 difference.In the study of clinic8l experiments, 27 patientsof chronic glomeru1onephritis which comform to symdromeof yin deficency and dampness--heat stagnation wereradom1y se1ected to do patho1ogica1 inspecting, 23 ofthem be1ong to origina1 mesangia1 proliferativeg1omerulonephrit is, this 23 pat ients were radom1ydivided two groups, 12 of them in the herba1 group whichwere treated by changed zhu1in decoction, l1 of them inthe west medicine group which were tre8ted by heparinand some other drugs. conclusion: the changed zhulindecoction can a11eviate the syI[lPtoms and improve therena1 function of patients; the leve1 of IL-6 in urinedecreased after tr...
