The Pharmacodynamics Research On Treatment Of DM With CHD And Influence On Apoptosis By Tangguankang

Based on reviewing systematically the literature and data on diabetes mellitus (DM) with coronary heart disease (CHD) from ancientry to modern times, we demonstrated qi-yin deficiency, blood stasis and phlegm stagnation were the pathogenesis which DM conduced to CHD. The basic therapeutic method was supplementing qi, nourishing yin, activating blood and dissipating phlegm accordingly. Recipe Tangguankang created by Prof. Lidelin who had lots of experience in treating DM with CHD had been applied in clinic for a long time and had got satisfied curative effect. To validate its pharmacolog effect, we experimentalized about pharmacodynamics. The result showed: Tangguankang could lower blood-glucose, blood-fat, remedy cardiac muscle cell, support little oxygen for longer time, improve heart function, therefore Tangguankang is the traditional Chinese medicine that should be exploited deeply and used widely. Moreover, through doing more work to research Tangguankang' s mechanism, we concluded that it could decrease insulin in blood, increase insulin sensitivity exponent and enhance insulin utilization; restrain advanced glycation end products (AGE) and alleviate toxicity; lessen apoptosis and Fas/FasL gene positive expression. We deduced that Tangguankang may ameliorate myocardial ischemia by way of interfering apoptosis or cutting off interaction of Fas/FasL system.
