Theoretical And Experimental Studies Of Intervention On Glomerular Sclerosis With The Therapeutic Method Of Eliminating Sputum, Softening Hard Mass And Removing Stasis

In this article, the mechanism of genesis and development of glomerular sclerosis has been discussed. According to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), long term aggregated vicious sputum and stasis tangled in kidney meridian are the most important etiological factor and pathogenesis of glomerular sclerosis. And its common pathogenic character is that sputum and stasis provok the disease together. The study has illustrated that sputum and stasis should be treated simultaneously to prevent glomerular sclerosis, meanwhile sthenia and deficiency also should be thought over. According to the principleof "tangled be scattered, hardened be cut......remained be assailed", eliminating sputum,softening hard mass and removing stasis have been managed to treat the disease with a prescription set under the principle. It is shown that the prescription could decrease the serum creatinine and BUN, protect kidney tissue, reduce the deposition of fibronectin and laminin in glomerular, inhabit the aggregation of glomerular extracellular matrix, and therefor defer the development of glomerular sclerosis obviously. The results have proved that sputum and stasis treated simultaneously has important significant in preventing glomerular sclerosis. The mechanism of action of the prescription is linked closely to the excreting MMP-2 by kidney tissue, decreasing the expression of TGF- β1 of kidney tissue.The studies will provide a new idea and method for clinical preventing and treating glomerular sclerosis.
